No wonder you were shocked when Mitt Romney and other Republicans went down, in some cases, big, on Tuesday night. Many polls were so off base it was laughable - until you stop and think that polling is an exercise in math, which is supposed to be subjective. When pollsters apply their own objectives, in this case, being Republicans, the truly do skew things up.
